The Temporary Works Co-ordinator training course (TWCTC) is a two day course accredited by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). This training course is suitable for candidates that manage all forms of temporary work including senior management and those that work with contractors.
Pre-requisites for this training course include experience in being responsible for managing all forms of temporary works.
This training course will enable delegates to understand the needs and duties of a Temporary Works Co-ordinator and will also give them an in depth understanding of BS5975. Training will also cover; risk assessments, method statements, management of the temporary works process and statutory aspects of temporary works.
Delegates will be assessed throughout the day, through group works and exercises and will also be required to successfully pass a multiple choice question paper. Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will receive a certificate accredited by the CITB.
Please note that this is not a temporary works awareness course, as this course only focuses on the process of co-ordinating temporary works.
